Who owns your website?
Saturday, March 10th, 2007Prepare yourself -I might completely obliterate everything you thought you knew about your copyright permissions for your website, and possibly make you question your life in general with this entry. Are you ready for it? Here it is – you might not actually own your website. Okay, so it might not as life-changing as I pretended it would be, but it still might be surprising to learn that unless you created everything yourself, from scratch, with no outside help (if so, unless you’re a skilled designer, it probably looks terrible and you should reconsider that approach), your website does not belong to only you – actually, it might not belong to you at all. So who is the ‘Big Boss’ in this situation?
