Amanda is a wonderful artist. She has grown into a beautiful young lady. I am so glad I had the chance to follow her in her career and continue to do so. I wish her the best of luck in her next adventure in Nashville when she her move there. I will miss seeing her perform in person but this is going to be the best time of her life. All my love.

This is a great article! Amanda has been shakin the dust off her feet for quite some time now! She is always working hard to get to the next level in her career. Music business is tough but if you can shake off the dust and leave behind the negative and keep going then you have what it takes to make it in the business. I have seen her grow from a young girl singing Alan Jackson in the back seat of my car to a mature, responsible, talented, deticated singer-songwriter and performer. I love her new CD "So Full of Country" and would suggest ya'll pick up a copy. It is reaches many different audiences from young girls , to service men, people in love, the drinker, the shopper and even the rocker in you. Amanda is about to take the next journey in her life and that is moving to Nashville in April. I will be on many road trips over the next few years. I wish her the best!!

I was fortunate enough to learn about Amanda and her music during the middle of last year. Running one of the largest websites in the Uk for Country Music we are always on the look out for new artists for our sections to give variaton to our site visitors. On hearing Amanda I realised her raw talent shich came from a unique vocal ability and range and also the ability to write her own songs, all of which are fantastic and for me tell a story each in there own individual way. My particular favourite at the time was Never Break My Heart. For me its lyricaly perfect, that with the pure sound of the steel guitar makes for a fantastic track. Her new album "So Full Of Country" is an album which I feel is really going to give Amanda the acclaim she truly deserves, from uptempo Country tracks to the slower country ballads, this album has it all and is produced brilliantly. I know that Amanda would like to make it over here in the Uk and I see no reason why she cant. I have plugged some of her songs through our site and the response has been fantastic, even to the point that one of our visitors has wrote a line dance to Never Break My Heart. Amanda now has her own section on our site in the Uk and I hope that I can work with her from now to promote her name and her music in this Country. Its an pleasure working with such a talented and genuine artist.

Amanda was such a great talent to watch when she was her last fall. I was proud to be able to get her booked for a couple of local shows in Nashville. Amanda I know I'll be seeing great things out of you in the near future. Now get to Nashville and prove me right!

At what point will the music community oppose that which government wants to do, regardless of what the community as a whole desires?
The new convention center is not what a majority of the people of Nashville want their tax dollars spent on and if Mayor Dean desires an ediface to his tenure, is it really the purpose of the city council to give it to him?
Come on ... think about it ... whatris wrong with Opryland Convention Center? Is it that it isn't, "downtown"? Do the downtown merchants reallyhave that much pull? Why is it that government thinks that it should be involved that that which should be the arena of the private sector?
Are there those in the community that want the convention center? ... sure. Are they willing to pay for it? Doubtful. They want you, the tax payer of Davidson county to pay for it. Obviously, given that the council members that voted for the center seem proud of their vote, I suppose that you are.
When your property taxes are once again raised, it would be appreciated that those who "accepted" the convention center keep their mouths SHUT!
